Our vaporizer review process

Hello, my name is Robert Paulson and I am here to welcome you to the Vape review portion of Vape Hacked, where we put the best Cannabis vaporizers to the test. A little bit about myself before I jump into this review, I am a frequent dabber and Terpene Connoisseur. I have been using vaporizers for over 5 years now and before that I was smoking it old school. I wouldn’t call myself a vape expert, more an aficionado with a passion for tech and Terpenes. I am out in these streets looking for the Best Vaporizers of 2017. I know I am a little late to the game but better late than never. I want to share my experiences, insights and ideas with the Cannabis community and I encourage you, the reader, to do the same. Cannabis will save the world if we let it.

OK, now on to business. The reviews I will conduct will be a little more detailed with respect to categories than most, I think its important to have all the key features detailed clearly before making a purchase. The 5 categories I will be using are as follows:

  1. Design
  2. Taste
  3. Vapor Production
  4. Functionality
  5. Health Consciousness

Each category is scored 1-20 with 20 being the best of the best. These scores are added up on a scale from 1-100. Vaporizers that score closer to 100 will have the better over all score. Here is a breakdown of each category:

  1. Design: The Design refers to the overall look of the device and the packaging. Also the feel of the device in the hand. Does if feel cheap? Do the the buttons rattle? Is it too light? Does it look like something I can pull out in public with out a second thought?
  1. Taste: The Taste refers to the atomizer. Does the atomizer give off any foreign flavors? Is the Atomizer getting too hot and flash vaporizing the Extract? Is the Atomizer hitting that sweet spot, delivering natural healthy tasting vapor?
  1. Vapor Production: Vapor production refers to the amount and consistency of the vapor produced. Is the vapor thick or wispy? Does the vapor linger in the air for a while? How quickly does the smell dissipate?
  1. Functionality: Functionality refers to the ease of use of the vaporizer. Is everything straight forward and easy to use? Is the vaporizer needlessly complicated? Does the vaporizer do what it says its going to do? For instance, I find that these 3 in 1 vaporizers try to do too much and end up lacking in one of the categorizes. I prefer a vaporizer that does one thing and does it well.
  1. Health Consciousness: Health Consciousness refers to the materials used in the construction of the vaporizer as well as the vapor path. I am always on the hunt for a healthier way to consume Cannabis and I try to stay away from the plastic vaporizers.

These categories encapsulate the entire Cannabis vaping experience, be it with Dry Herb vaporizers, Extract vaporizers or Oil vaporizers . It is my hope that you will be able to use my non-bias opinions to inform you on which vaporizer is right for you. So, lets begin…
